Collection: Upcycled Underwear
Upcycling is the process of recovering materials that are no longer used in order to transform them into products.
For our underwear we have therefore formed a partnership with La Ressourcerie de Quingey (near Besançon) and we have collected all the sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, curtains and tablecloths. which have a small defect and which will not be suitable for a possible second-hand sale. We also collected fabric scraps from our men's and women's playsuit collections. Since our clothing patterns aren't rectangular, some parts of our fabric rolls aren't used. To avoid waste, we looked for a way to recycle the small scraps we have left over after cutting our playsuits.
We couldn't let so much fabric end up in the trash, which is why, at Ludis, we're giving them a second chance by transforming them into upcycled boxer shorts. We extend the lifespan of fabrics and reduce their carbon footprint as much as possible to create the most eco-friendly underwear possible. Conceived, designed, and manufactured in our workshop in Besançon, we remain true to our values by continuing to prioritize ethical fashion and French manufacturing. Our boxer shorts will be produced in small batches, as long as the fabric for the model is available, and they will not be renewed, with some exceptions.
Boxer shorts are the number one fashion item for men. They are a piece whose comfort is well-proven, which is what makes them essential. If you don't want to wear them for everyday life, they can always be used as pajamas. We offer a wide range of cotton boxer shorts made from household linens or fabric scraps from our production. The width of the elastic has been carefully chosen and tested to ensure a good fit at the waist. You're sure to find the color or pattern that will make you happy. Simply plain or mismatched, a classic color (white or black) or a print (stripes, floral, pattern, etc.): you're sure to find the underwear that will perfectly match your style.
