Emerging in the 80s on American streets, men's streetwear style draws its influence from different cultures: surfers from Californian beaches, skateboarders with hip-hop influences, and jazz artists. It's therefore a style that comes from the street, which explains its rich and diverse nature. Here's a presentation of streetwear made in LUDIS !
What is streetwear?
Are you a fan of board sports? Are you more likely to be found at your local skatepark than at home? Then adopt a streetwear look that matches your mentality.
For the bottom, choose a pair of dark-colored jeans or wide-legged chinos and pair them with a pair of sneakers worn out by your countless attempts at tricks, each one crazier than the last. For the top, you can wear a simple hoodie, but it should match your pants. The cherry on the cake? A flat-brim cap worn backwards, of course! 😉
Are you more artistic and passionate about rap and hip-hop? Streetwear is what you need! Like Pharell Williams, Kanye West, and A$AP Rocky, combine fashion and street style to stand out while remaining stylish.
No longer is it necessary to wear oversized T-shirts and pants; we recommend pairing a simple sweatshirt with jeans or a fleece tracksuit, depending on your mood. Of course, this always comes with a pair of sneakers!
“Made in France” streetwear
The most well-known streetwear brands in the world, which are often referred to as "sportswear brands," need no introduction: Nike, Adidas, Puma, and UnderArmour. We're taking advantage of this article to introduce you to a few Made in France streetwear brands that have nothing to envy from the aforementioned giants:
- You've probably already heard of Le Slip Français . A little scoop for you: they don't just make briefs! They offer understated yet elegant clothing that is made exclusively in France , without exception. Launched in 2012, the brand has now become one of the symbols of "Made in France."
- To build your streetwear style you can also look at the brand 1083. The name of the brand comes from the exact distance (in km) separating the two most distant cities in France and it has demonstrated that it is possible to create quality jeans in our country. For jeans we also invite you to find out about the brand Dao Davy from Nancy which offers you linen jeans made in France.
- To be at the top of streetwear this summer, whether you're a skater or a rapper, we obviously recommend the LUDIS jumpsuit. The perfect blend of men's fashion, innovation in textiles and French manufacturing will offer you style and comfort so that you look radiant under the sun's rays! ☀️
It is true that there are many ways to present this style and that there are an infinite number of variations and declinations.
However, what is certain is that streetwear has become a staple of the fashion world and that it touches everyone. LUDIS has given you some ideas; it's up to you to choose what suits you best and express your individuality through your style!

Bonjour Benjamin,
